What are Pathways?
Modern Health Pathways is a structured care offering, designed with a series of modules that combine 1:1 sessions with a dedicated Pathway Specialist, interactive exercises, and specialized assessments. Please note that Pathways are only available if your company has elected to offer them. You can contact your Benefits Team directly to see if you have access.
How do I start a Pathway?
You can begin a Pathway via the Modern Health web or mobile app (iOS / Android) or by directly going to https://my.joinmodernhealth.com/pathways/

- Select Work with a Pathway Specialist
- Explore the Pathways you have available and get started

How long does it take to complete a Pathway?
Personalize your schedule with the help of your Pathway Specialist! Most people complete a Pathway in 4-8 weeks, but your provider will work with you to create a plan that fits your schedule.
Do Pathways use up my available coaching or therapy sessions?
No - 1:1 sessions offered as part of Pathways will be in addition to and separate from your existing employer-covered therapy or coaching sessions. You will not have to dip into your allotted benefit to complete Pathway sessions.
Can I enroll in multiple Pathways at once?
Yes.
Can dependents participate in a Pathway?
Yes.
What languages and countries are Pathways available in?
Pathways are currently only available to members with English as their selected language in the Modern Health app.
Who are Pathways Specialists?
Pathway Specialists are Modern Health providers who have been specifically selected based on their extensive expertise in professional well-being and burnout, advanced ICF-certifications (MCC, PCC), and “Fellow” status within Modern Health’s provider network.
How are Pathways different from coaching or therapy?
Pathways are different from coaching or therapy in that they offer a guided learning experience focused on specific topics. Pathways combines 1:1 care sessions, assessments, curated resources, and exercises to provide a holistic and personalized approach to your well-being journey. Unlike therapy, which focuses on healing and addressing past issues, Pathways is designed to help you develop skills and strategies to overcome current challenges and achieve your goals. Additionally, Pathways are structured and focused, allowing you to make strides on a specific topic within a short timeframe.
